Trump orders review of national monument designations

Executive order will rein in past designations pushed through without local input that limited grazing and public land rights.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump, alongside U.S. Department of the Interior secretary Ryan Zinke, signed an executive order to review the Antiquities Act.

The executive order directs Zinke to review prior monument designations and to suggest legislative changes or modifications to the monuments.
