Trump offers continued support to farmers

President Trump visits Kirkwood Community College to tout need to boost rural broadband access and recognizes role farmers play in economy.

President Donald Trump reiterated his support for increasing investments in technology for rural America -- including broadband, renewable fuels, trade and the need to roll back regulations -- during his remarks Wednesday night to Iowa agricultural leaders at Kirkwood Community College and again at his rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

“Family farmers are the backbone of America, and my Administration will always support the farmer,” Trump said.
