States challenge EPA on chlorpyrifos tolerances

Attorney generals from seven states ask EPA to issue a final rule on the proposed revocation of chlorpyrifos tolerances within 60 days.

New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman, leading a coalition of seven state attorneys general, announced a challenge to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for violating federal law regarding in regards to a widely-used pesticide chlorpyrifos.
