Second maize reference genome assembled

Independent researchers declare maize W22 line assembly high quality and exceptionally accurate.

In cooperation with a global team of researchers, Dr. Tom Brutnell with the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center and NRGene, a genomic big data company, recently announced the accurate assembly of the W22 maize reference genome.
