Rural task force report gets praise from industry

Broadband access and focus on workforce needs are high priorities for those in agriculture.

Just hours after being sworn into office last year, Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue was tasked with chairing the Interagency Task Force on Agriculture & Rural Prosperity. On Monday, Perdue ceremonially presented the task force's findings, including more than 100 recommendations, to President Donald Trump when the two were both presenting before the American Farm Bureau Federation's annual convention in Nashville, Tenn.
