Prairie Farms investing $8.7m in Ft. Wayne facility

Construction on 22,500 sq. ft. dairy manufacturing facility expansion to be completed in 2018.

Prairie Farms, one of the largest and most successful dairy cooperatives in the Midwest, recently announced that an $8.7 million investment in its Ft. Wayne, Ind., facility is underway. The expansion will allow the company to add jobs, manufacture new specialty products and expand its distribution footprint in the U.S. and Central America.

The company plans to build an extension onto its existing manufacturing facility. Construction on the 22,500 sq. ft. expansion is expected to begin
