School lunches will not only be nutritious and healthy but will taste good too: That was the message Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue gave Monday when he signed a proclamation offering additional flexibility for the National School Lunch Program.
Perdue was joined by Senate Agriculture Committee chairman Pat Roberts (R., Kan.) as they ate lunch with elementary school students and visited with school meal providers at Catoctin Elementary School in Leesburg, Va.
