OIE to establish U.S.-based liaison office in Texas

OIE expected to open U.S. office Oct. 1, hosted by Institute for Infectious Animal Diseases in College Station.

Following Executive Order 13759 by which the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) has been designated as a public international organization entitled to enjoy certain privileges, exemptions and immunities, OIE announced June 21 that it will establish a liaison office in the U.S. later this year.
