Novozymes, Boehringer Ingelheim to partner on hatchery probiotics

Collaboration includes research, development, production, marketing and sales of portfolio of probiotic products.

Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health and Novozymes announced a strategic collaboration to develop and commercialize probiotics for global poultry production, focusing on developing products for hatcheries. As part of the agreement, Boehringer Ingelheim will market and distribute Novozymes’ FloraMax probiotic product for the U.S. poultry industry, with plans to expand to other markets globally in the coming years.
