Grassley seeks GAO review of farm program eligibility

Senator asks GAO to conduct examination of USDA’s implementation of actively engaged in farming provisions.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R.,Iowa), a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee and lifelong family farmer, wrote to the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) requesting an update of its 2013 report on farm program eligibility, in advance of the next farm bill.
