Agricultural conditions were mixed across the nation as moisture conditions varied considerably; several Federal Reserve districts continued to report weakness in dairy and some crop sectors due to low prices, according to the Federal Reserve’s latest "Beige Book."

In the Chicago, Ill., region, the agriculture sector continued to operate under stress in late May and June, with reports of some crop and dairy operations exiting or filing for bankruptcy.
