CREAATE Act doubles export promotion funding

Doubling public funding for MAP and FMD, plus increasing private contributions from 10% to 50%, would result in average annual GDP gains of $4.5-6.0 billion.

For decades, U.S. Department of Agriculture export promotion programs have helped American farmers create, expand and maintain access to foreign markets. However, funding has remained stagnant. Now, new legislation looks to double the funding and help build agricultural exports.
