Climate Corp. finds new buyer for Precision Planting

Company had cancelled former deal with Deere & Co.

Just months after The Climate Corp., a subsidiary of Monsanto, pulled the plug on the sale of its Precision Planting LLC business to Deere & Co., a new buyer has been found. AGCO, Your Agriculture Company, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announced July 26 that a definitive agreement has been signed to acquire the Precision Planting LLC equipment business.
