Bernhardt confirmed as deputy secretary of interior

David Bernhardt respected and widely regarded as a leader both inside and outside the department.

On Monday, U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) veteran David Bernhardt was confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve ​as deputy secretary of the interior. ​He will be sworn in in the coming days.​
