Arm & Hammer acquires Passport Food Safety Solutions

On March 8, Church & Dwight Co. Inc., parent company of Arm & Hammer Animal & Food Production, acquired Passport Food Safety Solutions Inc., a provider of an innovative, systems approach to help meat and poultry processors consistently address food safety standards through a broad portfolio of technologies and services.

Passport Food Safety Solutions will now operate as a business entity of Arm & Hammer Animal & Food Production.

With the integration of these two entities, ARM & HAMMER now becomes a leader in providing the most comprehensive portfolio of nutritional, microbial and pre-harvest and post-harvest food safety solutions to optimize the health of production livestock while reducing the incidence of common pathogens in animal protein products, according to the announcement.

“We are very excited about this integration because it further supports our long-term plan to grow, evolve and diversify our business through industry-leading advancements in animal agricultural productivity and food safety,” said Scott Druker, general manager of Arm & Hammer Animal & Food Production.

We will continue to operate from our location in West Des Moines, Iowa,” he added.
