Allflex Group changes name to Antelliq

The Allflex Group announced Feb. 5 the launch of Antelliq, the new parent brand for the group that incorporates major animal identification and monitoring companies, including the key brands of Allflex, SCR, Biomark and Sure Petcare.

“Our unique group has evolved from a livestock identification company into an animal intelligence company, creating world-class devices for animal identification and traceability, pioneering monitoring solutions and delivering smart data products and services,” Antelliq chief executive officer Dr. Stefan Weiskopf said.

“At Antelliq, everything we do is designed to reveal opportunities to improve the management and well-being of livestock, fish and pets. Antelliq is a statement of our ambition to be the world’s leading animal intelligence group, dedicated to connecting animals and people for a smarter future,” Weiskopf said.

The group has been active in this industry for more than 60 years and currently employs more than 1,900 people worldwide, serving customer needs in 100-plus countries. It operates 24 production sites in 21 countries spanning five continents.

The creation of Antelliq recognizes that the group today has a significantly greater breadth and diversity to its offerings than ever before, according to the announcement. As Antelliq, the regional innovation centers and global scale mean it is well-positioned to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges, including:

* Supporting farmers with real-time actionable information: Through Allflex, SCR and its other livestock-focused brands, Anteliq's intelligence and monitoring helps farmers to manage herds and meet the world’s increasing demand for protein.

* Providing a deeper connection with pets: Through Sure Petcare, it provides pet owners with smart devices and data that give them a better understanding of their pets’ health needs and wellbeing, enriching relationships.

* Supporting conservation: Through Biomark, the group helps conservationists safeguard natural environments and wildlife.

Antelliq provides the technology and intelligence that will be at the heart of overcoming these challenges, leveraging the group's diversity for a shared purpose: to connect animals and people for a smarter future.

As the leading animal intelligence group, Antelliq provides world-class devices for animal identification and traceability, with pioneering monitoring solutions that deliver smart data products and services for the management and well-being of livestock, fish and pets.
