In the beef sector, David Williams, director of the Agribusiness Intelligence Protein Group at Informa IEG, said the cattle markets are definitely starting to find a bottom. Cash and cutouts markets could stabilize and even creep a little higher, he said, explaining that there is definitely some good demand.
Cattle feeders are also getting close to breakeven, he added. Feeders don’t have full yards, so they’re going to spread them out to market them at a slower rate,
